The young American tenor Joseph Michael Muir has already provided a glimpse into the bright future he is destined to have. In his short career, this gifted singer has performed significant roles in the tenor repertoire including Nadir, Flavio, Beppe, Ernesto, Edmondo, Almaviva, and Alfredo for Fort Worth Opera, Nevada Opera, Opera San Jose and Rimrock Opera. Mr. Muir has participated in a number of esteemed young artist programs including, most recently, Florida Grand Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Seattle Opera and Santa Fe Opera. He has also served as principal artist in residence with Opera San Jose. In concert he has performed with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony and has sung for the Midsummer Mozart Festival (San Francisco) and the Mountainside Master Chorale, among others.
